Malaisie Redang Island

After Two weeks with my children here we  are on the road again. Our choice was difficult Cambodia with Angkor or Malaysia, but after Three months with many temples we opted for  Malaysia and it was the best choice, it’s not a place we speak about for holidays and it’s just beautiful, only  the Chinese appear to know it and there are many of them on holiday here, it is a cheap and very beautiful place for them.

Waiting for our next bus from Segamat to Teregganu in  a local karaoke restaurant, where just before we had had   a reflexology massage not relaxing  like in France, but very hard !

In Kuala Lumpur , a Chinese temple for Tao or Confucius I don’t know which.

After arriving in Kuala lumpur we went to Redang Island , not knowing what we were going to find but it is just  paradise , a wooden 2 bedroomed bungalow (number 9 on the map) with ensuite shower room only ten meter from the beaches (yes two beaches), multi coloured fish and corals everywhere, sea turtles and baby whales, all the local people speak English, the food is good so we stayed 4 days here inserted of 2 just for the beauty of it . A pleasure for our eyes.

Boat to Redang Island 1 hour to arrive in paradise

Our bungalow and the first beach behind

Vue too the other beach from the window
Our bed
Snorkeling in turquoise crystalline water around by multicolor fish and beautiful corals

Jungle treck across the island to see another white sandy beach on T DALAM area
Second snorkeling in the national marine parc more beautiful than yesterday

Kalisan 8 month and  her father after snorkeling.

Volley ball with the local people on the beach

Ju thinking around the sunset light

Tonight it's barbecue at the hotel for the last day, even the skirled are at the party

Another trek to see another beach

Our bar serveur is a Nepal Guy very kindly, and "feu d'rtifice like every night since we arrived. for our last night.

  1. Hi Julie,
Saturated of Culture and Temples, even skipping Siem Reap? Now preferring lazy beaches, cocktails and full-moons? I understand. Take it easy now, enjoy!
From my side, leaving India for a few days home.
(a 3rd time I wrote this comment, hope it works well this time).
